I am back with a very special pen, a special production, and available to all by Gourmet Pens Industries in the Gourmet Pens Shop: Hot Pink Lemonade.
A quick little talk, I found out about this lovely pen while binge-watching Gourmet Pens on YouTube, and I was head over heels for it. Aziza did amazing at showing us the pen and the features which I love and will go over it. Her channel is amazing especially if you want to see all the pens and all the juicy nibs, really recommend you check it out!
Now I got the bundle with the Rickshaw Bagworks x Gourmet Pens Macaron Dreams solo pen sleeve and 3-inch holo sticker which is now on my ink swatch notebook. The bundle was $350 which is not bad to me since this is handmade by Greg Hardy at Hardy Penworks and the Diamondcast material is exclusive. I don't have any exclusive pens that are made out of special material so this is a treat for me. I added I got the pen without the roll stop since I have it on my pen holder on my desk or in the pen sleeve. Had to get some ink and a Pilot Parallel too!
Before I get into the major reason why I wanted this pen I want to say that I appreciate Aziza writing a note with the exact pen I received since it lets me know the nib is ready to be inked! Thank you, Aziza! This pen will be my catch-all pen because I can eye-dropper it! As soon as I got it I added some silicon grease and attached a 3.0 Pilot Parallel section and played with Kyo-Iro Soft Snow of Ohara. I have been looking for a good eye dropper pen but this is gold as I can easily switch from a nib and converter to Pilot Parallel and eye-dropper. The nib it came with is lovely as it is engraved with a picture of a nib and it is a broad steel Jowo #6. Maybe in the future, I will try it out with other nibs but this nib has no problem.
You can't post this pen which is fine since the pen without the cap fits perfectly in my hand. It is balanced so nice and not heavy at all!
I especially love it when it is eye-dropper filled cause you can see all the swirls and sparkles all in the pen. Hot Pink Lemonade is a great name for this pen cause it's a great pink, not too light and not too dark but you see it and it is PINK <3 I know my fountain pen collection is mostly green and brown but you gotta have one true pink pen right!
I super recommend this pen cause it's amazing to have a pen that can easily switch from converter/cartridge to eye-dropper to really try out calligraphy or just put down some major ink.
