Practicing Handwriting: Using Spare Notebooks

This post will be interesting as I never bought up what I do to use up spare notebooks. I have given a breakdown of all the notebooks I use with my Hobonichi covers and Roterfaden in a previous planner post so now I am happy to finally clear the air on all the other notebooks.

First I would like to explain that I do accumulate notebooks because I am always very curious about how other notebooks do with fountain pens or how they can enhance my current setups. For notebooks that don't meet my expectations, I try to use them up one way or another like handwriting practice. I don't have a lot of places to hold a lot of notebooks plus using them makes me feel better.

Currently, I am using this cactus notebook which was part of a set of three I received for Christmas in 2019. I placed it in my Roterfaden with my stationery and ink swatch notebooks, which are always within reach on my desk. The previous notebook was used for script practice and now I am focusing on my print handwriting.

Practicing each letter

This has been handy in finding better ways to write letters to make your handwriting easy to read. Doing this also doubles as a relaxing activity cause it allows me to focus and enjoy the pen and ink I am using. After a long day at work, this is my go-to!

Let me know how you use up spare notebooks, and until next time, stay hyped!
