I know I haven’t posted about letters but the truth is lately I finally got into constant letter writing with friends recently! Between trading ink samples and using up all the inks in my pens I curated a kit that has everything I need. This post will be about this setup.
To start off I am using the Traveler’s Notebook 10th-anniversary tin in green which I emptied out. I purchased this from Baukm-Kuchen back in March. I like this tin cause it can hold extra TN inserts if needed plus it has enough space for a lot of stuff.
First is all of my stamps that I use for letters which do include international forever stamps and some other regular forever stamps I liked. Really adore the espresso ones they came out with.
In clips are several letter sets. The Japanese formatted letter sets get sent internationally cause it is mostly in a package with a few other items. The American letter or general formatted letter sets are sent to friends in the US.
On top of those is a bunch of ink-decorated onion skin paper I made with leftover ink and one roll of plastic tape. The onion skin paper is from a pad I bought from Remy Road and I did a review on it before. The tape is here in case I don’t can’t make a wax seal and if I write several pages and might want to tape them together.
On the side is a Maco washi tape holder which always has four tapes on it that I plan to use up. There is one wax seal that I got from Baum-Kuchen which I use for mail between friends and my Hobonichi bear paperweight. It is the Mizuhiki Ribbon mini wax seal. I leave the Pentel brush pen in here for writing names on letters that get shipped with other stuff, helps me work on some brush lettering too. There are also two little containers that have cute stickers I plan to use in my letters.
I don't have much space so keeping everything in here really helps. I hope that when I do travel this will be used even more with postcards along with letters.
Let me know if you have a correspondence kit or setup! Would love to hear about it <3 Until next time, stay hyped!
